This is an interior design blog, and it wouldn't be fair to keep these lovely inspiring books to myself...so I'm sharing the best of mine with you....
FARROW AND BALL - Living with Colour by Ros Byam Shaw
An exquisitely put together book with beautiful photographs and inspiring interiors - interiors of real homes of real people who have used Farrow and Ball's now iconic paints to decorate their homes. This is not a paint book, this is an interior design book and you'll find it hard to put down. A lovely big coffee table book.

PERFECT ENGLISH COTTAGE by
Ros Byam Shaw
What can I say.....this beautiful coffee table book completely encapsulates the English cottage way of life. Once again, the author is RBS... picturesque cottages, quaint and traditional, layers of history and quirky interiors. Reading this book will take you on a journey into the homes of the people who live there. A book to inspire you to go cottage hunting in the Cotwolds, cosy up with a vintage wool blanket, clean out the grate and get that fire started!
(I think the picture below says it all don't you?)

PROVENCE STYLE - The art of Home Decoration
by Noelle Duck
This is one of my favourite decor books - why? Because I LOVE FRENCH DESIGN!!!
This book is most definitely a HOW TO book, from the roof top tiles, the styles of the homes, to the crockery used in Provence homes, all explained in great detail with beautiful full page colour photographs. A list of useful addresses at the back gives you an A-Z of where to find vintage boutis, traditional Faience ware, painted and antique furniture.

Essentially Irish - Josephine Ryan
Another interior book by JR, this time it's more personal - Josephine was born to an Irish Father and English Mother and spent her childhood in Ireland. The book is sensitively written with beautiful photographs of period homes, modern homes and artistic Irish interiors.
The End
Great recommendations, I'm intrigued to read the French one!
